Founded in August 2006, GDS (Global Data Solutions) Link LLC was launched by former Scorex (later Experian-Scorex) executives Paul Greenwood and Yves Duhoux. From their experience in credit life cycle risk solutions they witnessed the difficulties clients had with existing solutions and learned firsthand clients' true expectations, their disappointments and what is needed to make a decisioning solution valuable... Thus GDS Link was born.
Joining Paul and Yves on the management team are Rich Alterman, Jean-Dominique Morani and Gustavo Vercinsky.
Paul Greenwood: President and Co-founder firstname.lastname@example.org
Paul is responsible for the company's overall strategic planning and direction, which is centered on providing the technology for clients to accurately score the behavior patterns of the customer lifecycle. Greenwood oversees GDS' business development, sales operations and marketing direction to ensure the delivery of customer holistic risk management technologies.
Greenwood has more than 13 years in the risk management industry, providing clients with the expertise and guidance to design, implement and manage their enterprise risk management platforms.
Yves Duhoux: Principal and Co-founder email@example.com
Yves' responsibilities encompass the company's software development and solutions architecture.
Duhoux spent 10 years prior to GDS at Experian-Scorex, working out of both the Dallas office and in the company's Monaco location. After serving as a developer in Monaco, Duhoux transferred to the U.S. to become director of architecture and advanced solutions. During his career, he has designed and implemented enterprise decision systems throughout the world for Fortune 100 companies that include Bank of America, Washington Mutual and Dell.
Rich Alterman: SVP of Business Development firstname.lastname@example.org
With more than 30 years devoted to credit risk management in consumer lending, Rich leverages that experience to oversee GDS Link's new business initiatives, assist in sales and product development, as well as direct the company's consulting services.
Before joining GDS, Alterman was senior vice president of product management and new business development for Teletrack Inc. While there his responsibilities included spearheading product development, data enrichment and analytics, relationship retention with sister companies and third parties and consultative support.
Prior to Teletrack, Alterman was director of RSA banking and of CRM solutions for Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC), where he administered the account management for three of the largest banks in the Republic of South Africa. His role included overseeing the development of an event-based consumer management platform for South Africa's largest financial institution as well as contract negotiations, customer support and dispute resolution.
Alterman's background also includes hands on risk management experience at American Express Centurion Bank, the credit card division at First National Bank of Boston and Citicorp Retail Services Inc.
Jean-Dominique Morani: VP of Software Development email@example.com
Jean-Dominique's primary focus is to define GDS technology strategy and develop the highest quality enterprise class solutions that fulfill GDS' customer expectations. Morani also implements and drives best practice software methodologies.
Before joining GDS Link, Morani worked for Experian Decision Analytics, both in Monaco and in the US, where he led the design and development of solutions for top tier customers in the financial industry. While at Experian, he also designed and led the development of a key risk management software product offering. Jean-Dominique received many awards recognizing his customer focus and drive for innovation."
Gustavo Vercinsky: Director GDS Link, Argentina Gustavo.firstname.lastname@example.org
Gustavo manages the Latin American operation of GDS Link, with offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Part of his responsibilities is to manage the partnership with Soft Office Emerix the leading Collection Solutions provider in Argentina (www.softoffice.com.ar). GDS Link and Soft Office provide software and scoring model development to support the full credit life cycle needs with a certified quality and delivery process.
Vercinsky started in the risk management and analytics industry in 1994 at AIS, a Spanish scoring development company; in 1996 he built his startup company called ADDO, which was sold to Experian in 1998. At Experian he was responsible for expanding their client base, participating in acquisitions, implementing and managing projects and scoring models in fourteen countries of Latin America.
Gursel Kubilay: Managing Director, GDS Eurasia email@example.com
Gursel manages the Eurasia operations of GDS through the Istanbul office. Before joining GDS, Gursel worked for KKB, the credit bureau of Turkey as the chief executive officer. During his management period of eight years with KKB, Kubilay lead the team that secured a significant increase in credit bureau inquiry volume as well as developing the commercial bureau function and several value added products that turned KKB into an internationally accepted success story. Prior to KKB, Kubilay worked as EVP responsible for Risk Management, MIS and Financial Control functions in Turkish and international banks.
Angel Salamanca: Managing Director, GDS Europe firstname.lastname@example.org
Angel manages the GDS Modellica team through the Madrid office and collaborates with banks, finance houses and telecom operators to enhance the full risk Management cycle, from origination to collections. In 2004 Salamanca founded Modellica as an independent company specializing in scoring and decision support software. In 2008 Modellica joined the Scoresoft Group of companies and in 2011 the company merged with GDS Link.
Salamanca began his career in credit risk in 1991 taking on the role of Decision Systems Manager with Crédit Agricole, Spain. In 1994 Salamanca joined Scorex, later Experian-Scorex, as country manager for Spain and Portugal. For three years he shared these duties with the role of COO for Experian Bureau de Crédito, one of the two Spanish credit reference agencies.
Brian Hachez: Managing Partner, GDS Asia email@example.com
Brian manages the GDS Asia operations with its office in the Philippines in the city of Makati. In addition to day to day GDS responsibilities, Hachez is a Consulting Black Belt at Banco De Oro, the largest bank in the Philippines. His task is to launching a Lean Six Sigma program that will drive process improvement and increased customer satisfaction across the bank. The goals are modernization and automation.
Prior to GDS, Hachez worked at GE Capital for 11 years. His last assignment for GE Capital was as the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice-President for a full service thrift bank in the Philippines. Brian automated risk and underwriting processes in 16 countries for GE affiliates in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Brian's experience in all these positions has made him an expert in emerging market credit risk.
Keith Hale: Managing Director, GDS Link UK firstname.lastname@example.org
Keith heads up the GDS Link operation in the UK, also covering Ireland and Scandinavia. He began his career training as an Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co, before joining the credit risk team at Nationwide Building Society where he worked on credit scorecard development, deployment and strategy design and monitoring across the customer lifecycle for all consumer credit products. Keith joined Scorex in 1995 and ran the Business Development team, working with Banks, Finance Houses, Telcos and Utilities to deploy and monitor scoring solutions. When Scorex was acquired by Experian, Keith was appointed UK Business Development Director for the combined Decision Analytics business.
Roberto Giannantoni: Managing Partner, GDS Direct email@example.com
Roberto is responsible for GDS Direct which supports the ability to implement and support a real time credit bureau from the ground up. He also looks after GDS sales activities in Italy, Indian sub-continent and Africa.
Giannantoni has global experience in the credit bureau sector in different geographies including, but not limited to, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, and Italy.
Giannantoni's background includes time with CompuScan Direct where he was the Managing Director, Experian Decision Analytics where he was Head of Credit Bureau for the EMEA region and American Express where his last position was Director of Acquiring Business.
