Who is ACCPL?
GDS Link, a credit and risk management company, announced last week it will partner with Athena Credit Counseling Pvt Ltd (ACCPL), a credit counseling and consulting company. The partnership allows GDS Link to expand into India while building on both businesses’ current resources.
“India is a new market frontier for GDS so we felt it wise to try to partner with a company that had a solid understanding of the industry in which we operate and we found that with ACCPL,” president of GDS Link Paul Greenwood said in a press release. “The ongoing economic growth in India represents a great opportunity for GDS. We are confident that through our alliance with ACCPL we will be able to capture some market share for our risk solutions in 2013 and beyond.”
According to the press release, ACCPL – which goes by the brand name Credexpert – provides credit and debit counseling to individuals throughout their credit cycle. Additionally, the company provides consulting to banks and non-banks, such as insurance companies and housing-credit companies, regarding their finances.
In contrast, GDS Link developsrisk assessment software to help organizations and businesses manage their credit risk, as well as improve customer service. In addition to India, GDS Link will be operating in the U.S., Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, the Philippines and Turkey.
